I'm excited about getting back too and its my 27th year!Mary Louhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13276239655439786223noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11380429.post-1123917175625336162005-08-13T00:12:00.000-07:002005-08-13T00:12:00.000-07:00I enjoyed the deliniation of the 'teacher in progr...I enjoyed the deliniation of the 'teacher in progress'. I think you are on the right track. You seem to have accepted a shift in your thinking which will do you well, I'm sure. I know once you open your mind to accepting a more positive experience, usually the experience follows suit..https://www.blogger.com/profile/12618626273352951634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-11380429.post-1123895422162633882005-08-12T18:10:00.000-07:002005-08-12T18:10:00.000-07:00I will be praying for you. After 3 years you should know if teaching is really something you can stick with as a profession. I don't have the patience or "baby-sitting" skills to be a good public school teacher.

I love teaching, though, at the college level. I enjoy being able to give information and facilitate positive discussion. I hated subbing because of the baby-sitting aspect, and I can't imagine a scenario where I would ever do anything like that again, although I developed a huge amount of respect and appreciation for the majority of teachers (and it somewhat explained the bitterness and incompetence of the rest of them).

I hope that this year does go well. Knowing you, I've thought that teaching would eventually be something that you did very well, even if it's not your first career choice.Jasonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12191507766053284525noreply@blogger.com
